Motorola Droid X and Droid 2 are two popular Motorola phones. The Android 2.2 Froyo update isn’t needed for the Droid 2, but the Droid X is the center of a constant internet flurry of rumors. Is the Froyo update for Droid X available or not? Well, we are here to tell you that we have not had any credible confirmations that the new software has been rolled out for owners of the Droid X.
There’s a second leaked update available, which is certified by neither Motorola or Verizon. If users download this update, they won’t have the official update when available, which can affect the functionality of the phone.
Furthermore, I am always afraid of getting “Leaked” files, for fear of ruining my handset. After all, you never know when someone is going to try to lure you with malicious software.
The Droid X and Droid 2 meet Verizon’s additional lineup of Android phones, as the Incredible and Fascinate are the other two lineup models available. A commemorative R2-D2 phone will also be available in the coming weeks, which is very exciting.
